Meeting rooms are available for hire throughout the Danum Gallery, Library and Museum.
The rooms and spaces available for hire vary in size and capacity.
All room hire sessions must end when the building closes. Please plan your room bookings accordingly.
We are not able to accept bookings at the Danum for Saturday evenings or Sunday all day.
Charges
1 April 2024 – 31 March 2025
Non-profit Groups
Minster Room, Vulcan Room, Ivanhoe Room: £11 per hour
St Leger Room, Flying Scotsman Room, Paddington Room: £22 per hour
Commercial Groups
Minster Room, Vulcan Room, Ivanhoe Room: £40 per hour
St Leger Room, Flying Scotsman Room, Paddington Room: £54 per hour
Open event space bookings may be available outside of opening times but will incur different charges. Please enquire directly about these.
We are not currently offering discounted rates for repeat bookings.
We are not able to charge for parts of the hour, any part of the hour will be charged at a full hour booking fee.
Payment can be made by cash or card in-person at the Danum Gallery, Library, and Museum or by invoice. Invoices are usually issued around 4 weeks after the booking.
Refreshments
Refreshments can be provided our on-site Café 1910 through this room booking process. Final catering requirements must be provided one week prior to booking.
Food Provision
Lunch and snacks can be provided for your meeting/conference with prior booking.
Dietary Needs
Dietary requirements can be accommodated, including gluten free, vegetarian, vegan, Halal, and specific allergies, but information must be provided on room booking form.
Cancellation Terms
If you cancel your booking over 48 hours before the start time of your booking, no fees will be charged.
If you cancel your booking within 48 hours of the start time of the booking, or in the case of a no-show, 100% of the room hire and catering fees will be charged..
